Is auto the most efficient heat pump mode for a single room?
No, use the heating mode, not auto. Whilst in auto, your heat pump tries to maintain the set temperature by constantly changing between heating and cooling as the room temperature fluctuates. This can waste a lot of energy that you’ll be paying for at the end of the month .
Will setting the heat pump temperature higher heat my single room quicker?
Pushing up the temperature on the controller to 30°C in an effort to warm a room extra fast doesn’t work at all. Just set the temperature you want, and let your heat pump do the rest.
Where do I buy the actual single room heat pump from? Element Air or another store?
